Start-up

Bolder Automation GmbH was founded by G. Bolder in Limburg on April 1993.

Focus

The main emphasis of the business is automation in the field of extrusion. The complete control of co-extrusion lines, including temperature, drive and throughput control, can be offered using PLCs and SCADA. Application modules are available for implementation in the different processes.

Throughput control is the most important technology in that area where instruments work on the "loss-in-weight" principle. A new approach is set in the area of batch processing on the "gain-in-weight" principle.

Reliable solutions for projects a can be worked out by a staff with high expertise in processing and control.

All solutions are designed with world-class components which guarantee a high degree of reliabilty and robustness.

Gravimetric control

Bolder Automation is well known as designer of throughput controllers for extruders using the gravimetric loss-in-weight principle.
Eurotherm instruments and system technology, as well as Siemens components, are the platform of our own integrated solutions.
The mechanics, as weighing units, dosing units, blend feeders and hoppers, are part of the total product range.

SCADA

SCADA applications are based on Siemens software WinCC.

Software- Tools

The development of new products results also in complementary software products which can be used independently by other vendors. The experience resulting from Profibus-DP integration into throughput controllers can be used for Eurotherm temperature controllers as well. A range of independent services is offered.
